UNC Health Blue Ridgeis a not-for-profit community healthcare system nestled in the foothills of the magnificent Blue Ridge Mountains in picturesque western NC. Affiliated with the globally renowned UNC Health System, UNC Health Blue Ridge harnesses the resources of a large healthcare system to enhance the quality of healthcare throughout our region. Located minutes off the I-40 corridor, UNC Health Blue Ridge is about 1 hour northwest of Charlotte, 1 hour south of Boone, and 1 hour east of Asheville.

Opportunity Highlights:
  • 7on/7off schedule - Nocturnist position - 7p-7a
  • Opportunity to participate in teaching IM residents
  • Established Hospitalist program - currently staffed with 11 Physicians/6 APPs
  • Interest in doing procedures - comfortable with higher acuity patients
  • Full spectrum of specialty care support including Cardiology, General Surgery, Nephrology, Neurology, OB/GYN, Oncology, Orthopedics, Psychiatry, Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep, Urology
  • Candidates must be Internal Medicine trained and ABIM certified/prepared
