Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer/Nuxeo Developer - Enterprise Content Management (ECM), you will play a lead role in designing, building, and implementing document management solutions for business units across Fidelity. We will work closely with business unit clients, delivery teams and other IT partners to ensure our solutions support and deliver high fidelity applications by using Fidelity's core and common document management capabilities. We will also support Fidelity's cloud modernization journey by migrating on-prem legacy platforms to the market leading ECM platform to the cloud.

  • Developing and extending document management features and capabilities.
  • Solving and diagnosing issues quickly and thoroughly.
  • Developing migration strategy and scalable solution architecture on the cloud.
  • Leading the development and migrations team by providing technical direction and mentorship.
  • Solving problems and challenges related to technology solutions.
  • Collaborating across development teams, squads, and business partners.
The Expertise We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience in a diverse set of distributed application development and middleware technologies such REST/SOAP Web Services, Java, SQL, PLSQL, Messaging, Kafka, JavaScript, Test Driven Development.
  • At least 2 years of experience developing solutions on platforms like - Hyland Nuxeo.
  • Hyland Nuxeo and AWS cloud is a must.
  • Hands on experience developing object models, workflows, and jobs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Experience with the Agile development methodology.

The ECM landscape is being modernized using cloud native scalable solutions and with the continued investment and innovation in the electronic records management, document archiving is essential to the Fidelity's value proposition. The ECM offering is part of the Corporate Technology Group (CTG) that was established in 2008 to provide integrated technology solutions to enterprise-wide functions including Corporate Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, and Fidelity Enterprise Risk Management technology organization is responsible for all applications, services, and maintenance and technology implementations in Corporate Technology Group (CTG).
