The Rental Coordinator is responsible for coordinating material handling equipment rentals in assigned areas working directly with customers, prospects, and Sales Representatives. The Rental Coordinator must be able to perform independently with limited supervision.The ability to manage multiple priorities is essential for this position. The Rental Coordinator will demonstrate initiative, resilience, attention to detail, sense of urgency, commitment to teamwork, enthusiasm for customer service, and dedication to finding solutions in an efficient manner.

  • Track machine, battery, and attachment inventory
  • Schedule machine inspection and preparation prior to delivery and upon return of equipment from customer rental with the Service Department
  • Communicate rates, availability, and terms of machine rentals with customers and sales representatives
  • Obtain credit approval from Credit Department prior to any rental and prior to any machine leaving our facilities
  • Ensure all documents are filled out properly and signed by the customer
  • Set up agreements and update computer system as required
  • Send completed paperwork to the accounting department in a timely manner
  • Arrange inbound and outbound machine hauling
  • Monitor equipment repair, maintenance, and abuse expenses
  • Ensure billing and credits are completed promptly and correctly
  • Negotiate mutually agreeable settlements on customer complaints
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
