Professional Painter

Our painters perform a variety of tasks such as assembling scaffolding, surface preparation, sanding down old paint, filling in drywall holes, mixing paint colors, and painting homes and businesses. The ideal candidate should be comfortable talking with clients to understand their needs. Ideally, you have experience with a variety of paint surfaces and materials, and are comfortable using hand and power tools to get the job done. If you're ready to get started, apply todayResponsibilities•Painting interior of units (walls, ceiling trim)•Repair drywall•Exterior painting and caulking (Decks, porches, trim, soffits, and facia)•Power washing•Staining•Talk with clients to understand their needs and help them make the best decision•Clean up work area once project is finished•Coat painted surfaces with primer or sealer•Prepare surfaces for painting by filling holes and cracks with putty and sanding•Mix paint or stains to customer's specification•Protect trim, floors, fixtures, and furniture from paint using drop cloths and coversQualificationsWhat we expect from you:•Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated painting experience•Possession of personal tools (larger items such as ladders will be provided)•Proficiency in using a smartphone and navigating our work order platforms•Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation•Honesty and ability to work with minimal supervision•Adaptability to flexible working hours if needed•Commitment to full-time employment (not suitable for contractors)•Capability to complete time cards and accurately track individual man-hours and materials per job.•2+ years work experience and completed apprenticeship is preferred, but not required•A high school diploma or GED is preferred•Physical strength, stamina to stand for long periods of time, and dexterity is required•Should have general knowledge of painting techniques and tools, but we are willing to provide training
