Accounting Specialist

We are currently expanding our team and looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our dynamic organization in Southlake, TX, US

This full-time position requires expertise in QuickBooks and involves a variety of accounting and finance-related responsibilities, as outlined below. The successful candidate will be based in our office.

• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks
• Previous experience in accounting or finance roles
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

•Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable operations, performing reconciliations, maintaining vendor accounts, monitoring vendor W-9 forms, generating annual 1099s to vendors, and other finance-related obligations
•Must have bookkeeping, general accounting, and Quickbooks software experience

Qualifications

•Well-organized with good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
•Work effectively with staff and public
•Work independently
•Organize tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks
•Demonstrate good judgment and good problem-solving skills
•Respond appropriately to evaluation and changes in the work setting
•At least one year of experience in finance
•Experience in Excel and QuickBooks
•Superb attention to detail
•Experience with Odoo ERP a plus
