A health services network in New York is actively seeking a licensed professional to join their team in Westchester County as a Specialty Physician.

About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm
  • Patient Population: Adults (Ages 18+)
  • Patient Volume: 18 to 22 per day
  • EMR: NextGen
Responsibilities:

The Specialty Physician will:
  • Examine, obtain medical history and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Treat autoimmune diseases, musculoskeletal pain disorders and osteoporosis.
  • Order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Create treatment plans, and involve patients and family members in those plans.
  • Initiate appropriate specialty referrals.
  • Collaborate on improvement in care delivery and service with management, other physicians and staff.
  • Work with practice management to ensure compliance with billing and coding requirements
  • Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
  • Licensed to practice Medicine in the State
  • M.D., D.O.
  • Board Eligible / Certified in Rheumatology
  • DEA licensure
