Job Overview:

As a Mobile Radiation Technologist, you will be responsible for operating a Mobile Imaging vehicle and perform imaging procedures to patients at various locations. This role requires autonomy, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to diverse work environments. This is a full time permanent position

Shifts:

Friday -Sunday 10am-10pm

Sunday-Thursday 11am-7:30pm

Wednesday-Sunday 10am-6:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mobile Imaging vehicle to locations to provide on-site radiography services.
  • Imaging procedures to patients according to protocols and guidelines.
  • Travel between locations and patients.
  • Coordinate between nurses and medical assistants for patient care as needed.
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and resolve issues in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a high level of skill and expertise in mobile radiography techniques.
  • Provide bedside service to patients in nursing homes, assisted living centers, hospices, private homes, county jails, and other locations as needed.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork within the healthcare team.
  • Uphold ethical standards and always maintain patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) is required.
  • State License required by location.
  • Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
  • 1 to 5 years as a Radiation / X-Ray Technologist preferred.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and schedules.
