The Tech shall demonstrate excellent ultrasound scanning skills and knowledge of pathophysiology in patients from fetal to geriatric age (0-100+), as appropriate. This individual will serve as a resource person to peers, physicians, fellows, and other staff members. Assists in training/precepting personnel in non-invasive ultrasound procedures. The Tech will assist in evaluating various manufacturers' products and makes recommendations. The Tech is responsible for additional duties as assigned.REPORTING RELATIONSHIPSee Table of Organization.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEAssociate's degree in ultrasound or graduate of an approved Sonography program. Must demonstrate excellent scanning skills without supervision.
