Job Description

Hourly rate: $19-22 depending on experience. We are seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our team. As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk you will be responsible for:
  • Maintaining accuracy of inventory and cycle counting
  • Assigning materials/items to designated areas and placing them on racks, shelves, or in bins
  • Marking materials with identifying information
  • Assembling internal and external customers' orders from stock and placing orders on pallets
  • Preparing items for shipment
  • Using SAP for maintaining records and printing labels
  • Monitoring and creating deliveries and shipping schedules
  • Creating Bills of Lading (BOLs) and scheduling carriers for pick-ups
  • Performing additional duties as required
Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
  • Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Have 2 years of related experience
  • Have prior leadership skills
  • Have excellent written, reading comprehension and math skills
  • Be able to operate a forklift, cherry picker and turret
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Suite programs and other computer skills
  • Be able to bend, push or pull when required
In addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Previous hazardous materials training
  • SAP knowledge
