ER Travel Nurse

A travel nursing job for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse is open in Lynwood, CA. This is a 13 week Rapid Response contract, with shift schedule of 3x12 hr nights, starting as soon as possible.

Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nursing License
  • At least one year experience in an acute care facility
  • Current BLS, ACLS certification required

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medication and monitor patients for reactions/side-effects
  • Record patients' medical information/vital signs and maintain accurate record
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans

Skills and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking and listening abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective rapport with patients
