**Position** : Amsterdam Milk Hauler - Full Time **Location** : Amsterdam, New York **Requisition ID:** : 25539 Full-Time Driver Position Amsterdam, NY **$2,500** Sign on Bonus Offered to Eligible Candidate **General Purpose:** Utilizing DFA tractor and trailer, to transport raw milk from depot to processing plant **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Operates a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations and policies adhering to all safety practices + Following dispatch schedule and directions from dispatch and location supervisory personnel, travels to location to transport raw milk + Takes measures to minimize truck idle times and conserve fuel consumption + Verify proper documentation (Load number/Seal numbers/etc.) to validate load delivery and destination. + Disassemble, clean, and re-assemble trailer pumps to maintain proper cleanliness at a food grade level. + Always represents DFA positively and professionally during interactions with customers, or regulatory personnel **Pay and Benefits:** + Competitive pay + Eligible for Quarterly bonuses + Medical + Dental + Vision + 401k Employer Match + Generous vacation + Rotating Schedules + Return Home Daily + We are proud to offer access to your wages on-demand, no need to wait for pay day + And more... **E** **ducation and Experience** + High School Diploma or GED or equivalent Preferred + Must have a current CDL (Class A) in state of residence. + Must have, or be able to obtain, a tanker endorsement. + 2 years of tractor/trailer experience within the last 5 years is preferred. + Must be at least 23 years of age. + Must meet all DOT requirements. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Knowledge of DOT procedures, rules, and requirements + Ability to communicate effectively in the English language both orally and in writing + Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) + Ability to read and record accurate volume and weight measurement + Good organization and record keeping skills + Punctuality An Equal Opportunity Employer
