Pharmacy Tech

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, compounds and dispenses medical prescriptions. May be expected to perform related clerical duties. Receives and stores incoming supplies. Verifies stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Typically reports to supervisor or manager.High school diploma or its equivalent2 or more years of experience in a hospital or health system - preferredRegistered with North Carolina Board of Pharmacy - requiredPharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) - preferred Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.Company Description: Lake Norman Regional Medical Center has been serving the needs of the greater Lake Norman, Iredell and surrounding counties since 1926.
