Inventory Specialist. POS Clerk

is a regional farm supply co-op with diverse operations including feed production, agronomy services, and retail stores throughout the intermountain west. We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of **INVENTORY SPECIALIST/** **POINT OF SALE CLERK - Part-Time** at the IFA Country Store in Salina, Utah.**Intermountain Farmers Association (IFA)**

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Responsible for all procedures relating to the handling of money, invoicing, cash register operation, merchandising, assisting other retail and warehouse personnel, and providing excellent customer service.

* Accept payments from customers, operate a cash register with the ability to calculate discounts and percentages.

* Work with branch personnel to ensure that inventory policies and procedures are followed

* Perform and complete accurate inventory cycle counts

* Analyze book and physical inventory reports to ensure product accuracy

* Safeguard company inventory assets

* Work and communicate well with co-workers and handle stress while performing job functions

* Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

* Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form

* Effectively present information and respond to questions from management in an informative and cheerful manner

* Help maintain stock rotation

* Must be able to greet customers in a friendly manner.

* Preform other duties as assigned

* Will be working 20-30 hours per week, schedule negotiable/flexible, Monday Saturday between the hours of 8am and 7pm.

**QUALIFICATIONS:** High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Prior inventory experience desirable. Skilled at using Microsoft Office and other company software programs. Work around and handle hazardous material properly. Detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to follow directions. Honesty, dependability and strong work ethic are essential. Agricultural background and experience very helpful. Be able to stoop, bend, lift, push, pull, walk, and stretch repeatedly during shift. Be able to climb a ladder, lift 50 lbs., and be on your feet for the duration of your shift.
