The MRI Technologist works under general direction of the Lead MRI Technologist performs MRI exams and related activities.

Required Qualifications:

G

raduation from an A.R.R.T. accredited school of Radiologic Technology; A.R.R.T. registration in Radiography; current Mississippi State Board of Health registration as a Medical Radiation Technologist; CPR for health care workers; ability to work independently and with limited supervision. Preferred Qualifications:

One to three (1-3) years of experience performing MRI and/or three to five (3-5) years of experience performing CT scans; strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy; A.R.R.T. certification in MRI. Physical requirements include ability to work in a highly magnetic field, stand/walk, bend, stoop, twist, assist patients in turning, assist patients in arising from exam table, push wheelchair/stretcher patients, assist patients in arising and returning to wheelchair and/or stretchers.

Work Schedule :Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with one Saturday rotation per month, with a day off during the week. 415 S 28th Ave, Hattiesburg, MS 39401, USA
