HIGHLIGHTS
- Managing an enterprise SCCM environment.
- Creation and management of Active Directory Group Policy.
- Desktop/application and server troubleshooting and updating.
- Creating and maintaining process documentation and use of PowerShell and batch scripting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage desktop and server assets.
- Advanced knowledge of registry, permissions, drivers and Microsoftsoftware required.
- Test workstation and server patches before pushing out to production endpoints and servers.
- Maintain all desktop and server patching to the latest recommended versions.
- Coordinate with various remote sites to update/patch their servers.
- Build and deploy new software packages as needed.
- Perform 2nd level help desk duties to assist helpdesk technicians.
- Support new IT infrastructure projects.
- Assist in the preparation of IT infrastructure yearly budget as it relates to Microsoft licensing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SCCM and WSUS (if applicable) errors.
- Must be able to collaborate with other IT team members where Microsoft AD and SCCM/WSUS and skills are required.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of solid SCCM experience, MS active directory and GPO management.
- Microsoft SCCM certifications are a plus but not required if knowledge can be verified/confirmed.
- Must possess strong knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell.
- Microsoft SCCM, WSUS and Active Directory
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft SCCM (workstation imaging and updating/patching) and server updating and patching.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Sites and Services, Users and Computers, Group Policy, etc.
- Working with WSUS to deliver Microsoft Patching across all Microsoft endpoints and servers.
- Group policy creation and management to support endpoint and server software deployment.
- PowerShell and batch scripting is required.
