Able to utilize laboratory computer software and systems and assume duties that require more in-depth training. Assures service excellence to all customers is the highest priority. **What You'll Do** + Performs phlebotomy and specimen collection following laboratory polices to obtain best quality of specimen for testing. + Performs laboratory testing accurately, following laboratory policies, and reports results in a timely manner. + Ensures quality control requirements have been met, are deemed acceptable, and are documented prior to patient testing. + Performs all necessary maintenance and calibration on instruments + Performs laboratory staff training and competency assessment. + Monitors laboratory supplies, including storage, quantity, and expiration dates, and completes supply orders when supplies are needed. + Follows all proficiency testing (PT) requirements and submits PT results accurately and on time. + Participates in laboratory quality audits and process improvements. + Maintains knowledge of accrediting agencies and standards and participates in accrediting agency surveys. + Is a resource for laboratory related requests including order entry, specimen collection inquiries, proper test codes, specimen storage requirements, etc. + Aids in creating and maintaining policy and procedure manuals. + Other duties as assigned by management. **Qualifications** + Associate’s degree-Medical Laboratory Technician + ASCP National Certification + North Dakota Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice license + BLS certification **Pay Range** $19.18 - $26.32 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
