Healthcare Leadership Solutions, a reputable strategic recruiting firm, is seeking a seasoned Physician Advisor to join a Florida-based Regional Program. This role is part of physician leadership and involves working collaboratively with Utilization Management, Health Information Management, Revenue Cycle, Patient Financial Services, Patient Access, Managed Care, and Medical Leadership to provide updates, statistical trending, and changes to denial prevention measures with managed care payor agreements. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide physician review of utilization, claims management, and quality assurance related to inpatient care, outpatient care/observation stays, and referral services. • Team up with and educate Utilization Management, Health Information Management, Revenue Cycle, Patient Financial Services, Patient Access, Managed Care, and Medical Leadership on updates, statistical trending, and/or changes to denial prevention measures with managed care payor agreements. • Actively collaborate with physician leadership to improve patient care and outcomes. REQUIREMENTS: • Must be an actively licensed physician with current Physician Advisory Experience. • Ready to work with like-minded professionals looking to better improve the lives and care of their patient population.
