**Morton Industries, a world class tubular manufacturer, is hiring for Order Pullers Order Pullers start at $16/hr with higher wages based upon experience. Morton also pays a 15% off shift premium making that $16/hr base go to $18.40/hr as an entry level Order Puller**

**Essential Functions:**

* Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.

* Determines method of shipment.

* Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons.

* Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers.

* Inserts items into containers.

* Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers.

* Posts weights and shipping charges, and affixes postage.

* Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages. Routes items to departments.

* Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.

* Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.

* Operates industrial truck or uses hand truck to load and unload vehicles, move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.

* Process, print, and record all incoming and outgoing material.

* Expedite materials at outside vendors.

* Maintain inventory via computer.

* Store and retrieve materials.

* Complete work order cards.

* Deliver or pick-up materials from vendors.

* Coordinate efforts of other employee/duties in the area.

* All other duties as assigned
