Requirements Experienced family medicine physician, graduating resident or fellow. Outpatient-only practice. Reason for Recruitment Community need, succeed retired physician. Practice Details This is a large and well established practice within the community with the most access for Primary Care in the region. EPIC is utilized within the practice for an EMR. There is a large panel size available along with the support of APP s. Patient and Procedure Mix All aspects of family medicine: the physical, emotional, and social health from birth through adulthood, including health services ranging from preventive health care to the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases. Compensation Base salary with RVU-based incentive compensation plan. Benefits include: Professional liability with tail coverage Life Health Dental Long-term disability Short-term disability Vacation CME dollars and days Relocation allowance Tax-deferred annuity with employer match Schedule Traditional office hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 1:9 Phone call shared with family medicine providers. Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary, the only fresh water sanctuary, which hosts tours of the country s largest collection of shipwrecks. Home to the nation s only freshwater National Marine Sanctuary, Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary interprets hundreds of years of nautical commerce which have created a rich landscape of maritime history and culture in the Alpena area. A destination maritime heritage center with exhibits and programs, museums with nautical exhibits, seven area lighthouses and maritime trails, tours and events bring the stories of ship captains, sailors and lighthouse keepers to life.
