Summary: Provide administrative support to Corporate Quality department
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensures that the latest revision of appropriate documentation is processed in a timely manner; Includes engineering drawings, Bill Of Materials (BOMs) and ECNs
- Review ECNs (Engineering Change Notices), assuring only approved prints are released.
- Route new and revised Engineering Change Notices ECNs, Technically Qualified Product Lists TQPLs and drawings on a timely basis
- Process release changes using ERP System (SAP)
- Maintain accuracy and consistency between Engineering BOM and Manufacturing BOM.
- Coordinates with Materials Manager to ensure that the BOM has the correct structure as well as the correct components and quantities in the ERP System
- Works with Quality Control manager to ensure documentation compliance with AS9100 standards.
- Work closely with Purchasing, Production, and Program Management to ensure smooth transition of released changes into Production.
- Respond and manage documentation request received via workflow
- Manage and maintain files from Engineering, customers agencies under department's control and exercises appropriate document control.
- Enter and maintain part numbers, BOMs into the system.
- Process ECNs in conformance with ISO 9001 standards and corporate procedure manuals..
- Train new Engineers in SOP related to Engineering Service functions.
- Process requests from internal customers to add a standard part number, SD/PR or TQPL.
- Verify daily if released prints and drawings are imported into secure corporate ViewPART system.
- Scan ECNs and attachments, TQPLs and miscellaneous documents into appropriate records.
- Create PDF files for procedures, manuals and appropriate documents.
- Perform other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Computer Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Manufacturing Enterprise and/or Database software experience preferred.
