Working closely with probation, who has ultimate responsibility for case management, oversight of court conditions, and reporting to the Judiciary, the drug court clinician will be available to the Drug Court team to consult, advise, and problem solve with team members on cases individually and collectively. The Drug Court Clinician will function as a full member of the Drug Court team and will serve to: Provide clinical screening, psychosocial assessments and treatment planning for drug court referrals as needed, in conjunction with the probation officer and in accordance with Adult Drug Court operational proceduresAssist in level of care and treatment recommendations for participants as neededEducate the Drug Court team on clinical perspectivesAssist with care coordination and referrals of participants to treatmentAssist with building linkages with and engaging community based service providers to help enhance the success of Drug Court participantsHelp engage participants and their families, in consultation with the Drug Court team, to maximize participant successCoordinate and partner with probation, and participates when appropriate, on home visits and community contactsProvide testimony, if required, to the court on the status of each participantRecommend adjustments to the treatment plan for the participant model in collaboration with the Drug Court teamSCHEDULE: Monday through Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pmBENEFITS:We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including:Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous paid time offPaid holidaysFlexible Spending AccountContinuing Education benefitsMuch more...QualificationsLicense in the state of Massachusetts as an LICSW, LCSW or LMHC; other licensures may be considered. Demonstrated experience working with individuals with substance use disorders, preferably over 3-5 years of experience. Experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders.LADC-1 certification and bi-lingual preferred but not requiredDemonstrated exceptional communication, organization, and writing skills.Ability to work collaboratively on a multidisciplinary teamWilling/able to travel within the state.Possess a valid driver's license.Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain security clearance where applicableindmhm
