Join The Peach Truck as a Customer Experience Specialist, where you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional service and fostering a positive environment for our customers. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of customer engagement, problem resolution, and promoting a customer first culture. Other duties will include setting up of our locations and assisting with checking out our customers. This role involves travel to neighboring zip codes within the assigned market. This is a seasonal position and preparation for the season begins in early May and lasts into early September. Our role extends beyond the conventional Monday-through-Friday desk job, keeping things lively, particularly on weekends, ensuring our customers forge a strong connection to the essence of our brand. Responsibilities Include: • Set up of the stops, this will include setting up tables, tents, cones and other equipment (may be in excess of 40lbs) • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the customer experience, modeling and delivering the “Peach Truck” service standard • Create a welcoming experience and exceed customer service expectations by focusing on decreasing wait time, friendly customer interaction, and service recovery. • Be knowledgeable about our peaches, products, including how to properly condition a peach. With the ability to communicate your knowledge to the customer. • Champion offerings, ensuring informed, educated, and promoted offerings for an enhanced shopping experience. • Respond promptly to any negative customer experiences, de-escalating situations, and supporting the team in making things right for the customer, when necessary getting with customer service teams to solve the customers problems. • Thank the customer in a genuine way and let them know we’re happy they chose to purchase from The Peach Truck. • Make it right for the customer by de-escalating any negative situations and recover the customer experience • Bag Peaches during downtime while being available for the customers • Work in a safe manner at all times to benefit yourself and others; identify and correct hazards; comply with all safety policies and best practices • Work a flexible schedule aligning with customer and business needs. • All other duties based on business needs Qualifications: • 18 years of age or older and eligibility to work in the United States in compliance with applicable employment laws is required • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from your work location. • Previous retail experience preferred, but not required • Ability to lift safely 40+ pound boxes repeatedly throughout a shift. • Ability to work outdoors in various climates • Welcoming and helpful attitude with a strong work ethic, that can adapt quickly to changing circumstances • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, showcasing flexibility, proactivity, resourcefulness, and efficiency, and a keen attention to detail while multitasking • Access to a personal smartphone, and adaptability to current technology needs • Ability to work independently without direct supervision at all times and follow instructions • Flexible work schedule, including weekends, and holidays, with regular attendance necessary. (Saturday availability is required). Compensation: $17 hourly
