Job Description

Manages the overall day-to-day operation of one or more retail stores. May oversee hiring, training, and scheduling of store personnel to cover standard operating hours. Oversees sales, controllable expenses, cash management, merchandising, inventory control, loss prevention and store appearance. Manages ongoing analysis, development, and implementation of methods and systems to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of services and functions. In circumstances where Gift Shop provides Mastectomy Fitting, the Certified Fitter supports and conforms to professional responsibilities that promote and assure the overall welfare of the patient and the integrity of the profession. Performs an evaluation of the patient's needs/specific prescriptions for post-mastectomy garments, prosthetics, and/or durable medical equipment, formulating a treatment plan, verifies medical necessity, supplies patient education and instruction, works with other health care professionals, bills insurance and maintains Medicare and Joint Commission standards.
  • High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Active certification as Mastectomy Fitter; if location serves as a Mastectomy Fitter.
  • 5 - 7 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Requires knowledge in business or retail management and business applications.
  • Requires proficiency in computer systems and office equipment operations.
