In-Home Caregiver

Job Summary:

The In-Home Caregiver is responsible for providing personal assistance and support services to elderly and/or disabled clients living in their own homes. The In-Home Caregiver will give clients assistance with activities of daily living, communication, mental and emotional support, transportation, homemaking, safety, and rehabilitative services.

Compensation & Benefits:

The In-Home Caregiver will be compensated with a market-competitive salary of $14 - $17 per hour, based upon experience. Employees are paid semi-monthly. Flexible scheduling options.

Responsibilities:

Provide personal care, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
Accompany clients on errands and special outings such as doctors appointments
Prepare and serve meals per instructions and dietary restrictions
Shop for groceries, household items, and medical necessities
Provide light housekeeping, such as dusting, vacuuming, and washing dishes
Monitor clients physical and mental condition and provide updates to the supervising health professional
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
Perform administrative tasks related to client care

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a valid drivers license and automobile insurance
Must pass a background check and drug test
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Previous experience as a caregiver, nurse, or home health aide is preferred but not required
