Diagnostic Supervisor (Cardiac)

Position Summary:
  • The Diagnostic Supervisor (Cardiac) performs echo/vascular studies and provides preliminary readings at a level of competence not requiring supervision of technical detail in an outpatient setting. The Diagnostic Supervisor (Cardiac) informs the provider of critical results and participates in quality assurance and case studies related to the operations of the office. This position also supervises staff which includes interviewing, scheduling, and assisting the Director in employee evaluations.
Education: Associate's degree in Echo and Vascular Ultrasound from an accredited college or university required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Current registry as a Vascular Sonographer and Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) preferred. RDCS or RCS, and RVT or RVS required. Must possess current BLS certification.

Experience:
  • At least one year of experience preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited program will be considered in lieu of experience.
