Part Time 10:30am to 7pm **Summary**
The person in the Kitchen Aide position has the responsibility of helping to get the dining room ready for the meal before the residents arrive, serving the meal and helping to clean up and get the dining room ready for the next meal. She/ he may also have to deliver a meal to a resident room if necessary. It is important to get to know each resident, their special diet needs, and their likes and dislikes. The Kitchen Aide employee may also have other housekeeping duties as assigned.
**Required Tasks**
* Assist all residents with care needs as necessary .
* Assist with meals, including table set-up, serving, and clean-up after the meal.
* Answer help bells and take appropriate action.
* Communicate any information regarding residents to the appropriate supervisor.
* Deliver meals to resident rooms as necessary.
* Assist with any other housekeeping duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
* Ability to read, write and speak English.
* Exhibit a caring and compassionate attitude and true concern for the residents.
* Able to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in a residents best interest.
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
