Sales Associate

COMPANY DESCRIPTION: Petroleum Marketing Group (PMG) is one of the largest multi-branded Petroleum Dealers and Convenience Store Operators on the East Coast. PMG is an established distributor and jobber of petroleum products & services throughout the Atlantic region of the United States. We own, operate, and/or supply over 800 sites across Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., and New Jersey, and have an annual fuel volume of over 700 million gallons. • Cashier Sales Associate: Responsible for recording sales transactions on the cash register and providing general customer assistance by performing the following duties:
  
  •Processes transactions in accordance with store procedures.
  •Provides customers with appropriate receipts.
  •Provides and initiates assistance for customers as needed.
  •Handles merchandise returns and/or exchanges in accordance with store policy.
  •Maintains adequate stock of paper forms for the cash register area, and notifies the Manager when additional supplies are needed.
  •Attends store meetings and training sessions as requested.
  •Reports any problems or discrepancies to the Manager.
  •Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior cashier experience preferred.

Skills:
Cash-Handling experience
Customer Service
