Job Description Rust Belt Resources has partnered with a national technical organization on a payroll opening. The ideal person will have 1 or more years of experience processing payroll within ADP. Additional experience in Kronos HRIS is a plus.
This position reports to the Payroll Supervisor and is responsible for processing payroll and handling various payroll related tasks daily
Responsibilities
•Prepare and process payroll utilizing the ADP Enterprise application for approximately 8,000 employees
•Collect and review timecards for accuracy prior to processing
•Review payroll reports and distribute to other departments as needed
•Balance register totals against input to ensure complete and accurate payroll entries
•Research and correct discrepancies due to processing errors prior to acceptance
•Communicate with other departments for time collection and input
•Enter and audit payroll changes such as new hires, terminations, and employee personnel changes
•Review and enter wage garnishments such as child support orders or tax levies, answer questions related to garnishments as they arise
•Process adjustments for retroactive changes including pay rate and tax jurisdictions
•Research and correct errors in employee wages, deductions, or tax withholding
•Process out of cycle check requests and issue payment via pay card or ACH
•Issue, track, and recover cash advances as needed
•Monitor the payroll inbox to address questions, research and resolve employee issues/concerns
•Assist employees with accessing self-service tools and making necessary changes
•Ensure compliance with Federal and State wage and tax laws
•Maintain all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures
Requirements
1+ years of payroll processing experience
Knowledge of multiple state processing
ADP payroll experience is required
Team player, willing to assist others
Proficient with Microsoft office Suite
Kronos experience is a plus
Benefits
Salary: $52,000
This is a full-time, direct hire position.
