**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

**SALES DEPARTMENT/YARD COORDINATOR:**

* Accurate and timely completion of Equipment Shipping and Receiving Records (EMMs)

* Take in/out pictures of equipment/attachments and submit them to appropriate personnel

* Must verify the S/Ns of equipment and attachments and ensure information is documented accurately

* Handle paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

* Complete damage inspections of all equipment entering yard

* Load and unload equipment and attachments in a safe manner

* Organize equipment for yard display

* Maintain a clean and organized yard

* Responsible for operating heavy construction equipment in a safe manner

* Help with preparing equipment for next rental or sale

* Build knowledge of existing product lines, service standards, and procedures, work with Salesmen on inventory

* Take advantage of every available opportunity to increase knowledge through attendance at meetings, seminars, and schools

* Maintain close, positive working relationships with service, sales, and administrative departments

* Enter accurate information into our computerized inventory system

* May perform other duties as assigned by Branch Manager

**PARTS DEPARTMENT/WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT:**

* Ship and receive parts and/or equipment and record all incoming parts, units, components, and assemblies into inventory

* Stock shelves as needed and organize parts locations

* Communicate and coordinate with other branches on transfers of parts and/or equipment

* Parts/Service/Sales running as needed

* Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse

* Prepare parcels for mailing

* Will be operating a forklift in close quarters; loading and unloading parts onto and off trucks

* Ability to work with minimal supervision will be required

* May perform other duties as assigned by Parts Manager

**REQUIRED SKILLS:**

* Average computer comfort level to work with Word, and Outlook

* Proficient in writing, reading and math

* Requires managing multiple tasks while keeping extremely accurate records and paying close attention to detail.

* Organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects

* Very detail-oriented with ability to multi-task

* Must have a positive mental attitude

* Forklift experience preferred

**ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:**

* Experience with the operation of heavy equipment a plus

* This individual must possess the understanding of process flows within an organization.

* This individual must be able to communicate with management the tasks at hand, as well as the tasks to be completed to gain feedback necessary to complete the tasks.

* This individual must be able to think ahead and keep in close contact with managers so that information can be communicated in a timely manner.

* To perform this job successfully, this individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

**NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB:**

* Requires prolonged standing with periodic lifting, walking, standing, bending, stooping, and stretching

* Requires ability to push, lift, pull, and/or carry 50 lbs. or more

* Requires a valid drivers license and the ability to maintain an insurable driving record
