Company Overview:

Since incorporation of CMBlu Energy AG in 2014 in Germany and CMBlu Energy, Inc. in 2022 in the U.S., CMBlu has pioneered the field of flow batteries based on organic/carbon electrolytes. Beginning in 2020, development has centered around product development of the Organic SolidFlow battery long duration energy storage solution. This technology aims to be the choice for safe, sustainable, and secure industrial and utility-scale energy storage. Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a part-time Bookkeeper and Office Manager. The Bookkeeper and Office Manager will be responsible for a diverse range of responsibilities, including overseeing accounting and office operations, in a dynamic and supportive hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities: Bookkeeper:

Manage all aspects of bookkeeping for our U.S. operations and subsidiaries, including: · Tracking and managing accounts payable and receivable · Managing bi-weekly payroll, benefit plans, employee expense reports and company expenses · Acting as a liaison between company leadership and accountant, providing necessary financial information and reports · Performing general banking transactions such as transfers, deposits, etc. · Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and analysis as needed · Assisting in preparation of accurate federal, state, and local record-keeping requirements and financial documentation

Office Manager:

Manage the physical office space in Petaluma, Ca. to ensure a comfortable and efficient hybrid work environment, including: · Serving as the main point of contact for office-related inquiries and needs · Procuring and organizing office, kitchen, and restroom supplies · Coordinating and overseeing general office maintenance and repairs of office equipment, ensuring a well-maintained and functional workspace · Collaborating with safety officer to assist in the implementation of safety and security protocols · Coordinating and executing small office events, such as birthday celebrations

Qualifications: · Previous experience in accounting, finance, or related · Previous experience in office management preferred · Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail · Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities · Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively · Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a hybrid remote/in-office environment · Knowledge of renewable energy or energy storage industry is a plus
