Possesses the ability to communicate effectively and perform well under high stress. Possesses the knowledge, training, experience, and competency in the following, specific to the age of patients served; the ability to obtain and interpret information; a knowledge of growth and development; and an understanding of the range of treatments needed by these patients. The patients served include all age groups as follows: neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. . **Desired Qualifications** **:** + 3 years or more experience with high complexity testing in Hematology + Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist experience with scheduling, quality control, inspection readiness, policy and procedures, validations, as well as employee training and competencies **Position Shift:** Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 10am-6:30pm CST **Signing Incentives** : $10,000.00 Signing Bonus and Relocation Stipend, Signing Incentives **Sign-On Bonus Requirements** : The sign-on bonus is not applicable to current VUMC staff or former staff who have worked for VUMC in the past 12 months. The sign-on bonus is only available for full-time positions.
