**JOB SUMMARY:**

A Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a wide range of goods including, but not limited to, materials, tools, machinery, and uniforms.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

*FACILITY & SAFETY*

* Maintains standards of health, safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.

* Maintains housekeeping of warehouse.

* Ensures the workplace health and safety requirements are met, take responsibility for the security of the building and stock, and runs shift with safety and efficiency as priorities.

*PURCHASING*

* Ensures quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met.

* Responds to field communication, locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.

* Administers on-line purchasing systems.

* Prepares and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.

*TOOLS, FLEET & INVENTORY*

* Maintains records of goods ordered and received, log all rentals into the rental log and follow up with foreman on status.

* Manages stock control, receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading and transferring; document recording and data entry into system.

* Issues inventory report, in/out status report, dead stock report, goods age report, and consumption report.

* Returns all materials not required on a project or that were delivered incorrectly.

* Responsible for tool inventory and control: Tool transfers log in/out form, clean up, maintenance and repair of tools

* Updates and maintains inventory tool list, delivery of tools to the jobsite.

* Perform other duties as assigned

**COMPUTER SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE:**

* Solid working knowledge of use of the Microsoft suite of applications (Word, Excel, etc.)

**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR LICENSES:**

* Associates degree or equivalent experience.

* Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience.

* Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with HVAC and/or Refrigeration concepts.

* Forklift operating experience/certification preferred.
