**Retail Assistant Manager**

Omaha, NE **Position:** Assistant Retail Manager (Reports to Retail Manager)

Location: Omaha, Nebraska

**Description:** The Assistant Retail Manager is responsible for continually focusing on achieving profitability through cash drawer control, customer satisfaction and developing team members while maintaining the policies and procedures of 88 Tactical. Oversees retail floor and range operations ensuring retail employees are following proper procedure with the objective of exceeding customer expectations. Works directly under the Retail manager to implement his standards and vision while building a successful retail team.

**Responsibilities:**

- Ensures members and customers have a positive experience

- Conducts new hire training and reoccurring training for retail staff.

- Performs and oversees retail sales, range rentals, and class enrollment sales.

- Directing the daily stocking and facing of products and cleanliness of the retail area.

- Balancing cash drawers and performing accurate deposits

- Receives purchase orders and inputs the items into the POS system.

**The Following responsibilities are divided and assigned to specific Assistant Managers.**

* Schedules retail staff through Homebase for their weekly schedule with a minimum of 2 weeks notice.

* Ensures FFL Compliance by maintaining all 4473s Forms and performing a monthly Gun Audit to ensure all serialized firearms and accessories are accounted for.

* Directly supervises the Armorers workload ensuring work orders are entered properly, performed within a timely manner.

* Performs daily inventory checks to develop purchase orders.

* Creates purchase orders from Vendors and acts as a liaison as needed.

* Performs a complete monthly inventory check to ensure POS inventory on hand is correct and provides a shrinkage report to the Retail Manager

* Manages and oversees overall the range maintenance program and the training and SOP compliance by RSOs

* Maintains maintenance logs of filter changes and berm mining.

* Ensures OSHA compliance by performing test and maintaining logbooks in accordance with the following programs:

+ Hearing Conservation Program

+ Hazmat Communication Program

+ Medical Surveillance Program

+ Lead Compliance Program

+ Range PPE and Respiratory SOP program

Education & Experience:

- 2 Year degree preferred but not required.

- Minimum 1-year management experience

- Knowledge of the firearms industry and state firearms restrictions.

- Strong management and leadership skills a must

**Pay Range:** Hourly starting at $15 per hour. Can move into a salary pay based on performance.
