Job Type Full-timeDescriptionBecome a valued part of our well-established Family Medicine practice. Rocky Mountain Primary Care is seeking a SCRIBE at our Arvada location. You will be an important and valued part of our Patient Care Team. This is a full-time position, Monday- Friday, with occasional Saturdays on a rotation basis. SCRIBE DUTIES INCLUDE:Record detailed information from a patient's visit with a provider including:Patient medical history and physical examProcedures and treatments performed by healthcare professionals including medical assistantsPatient education and explanations of risks and benefitsPhysician dictated diagnoses, prescriptions and instruction for patient or family members for self-care and follow-upAssist with referrals if directed by the physicianAssist provider with locating test results and patient records from emergency room visits and other providersWork directly with a single providerPerform documentation in the EHRPartner with provider to deliver excellent patient careCheck for accurate information in the medical record to reduce errors RequirementsQUALIFIED CANDIDATES will meet all of the following requirements:Completed a Medical Terminology courseExperience using an electronic health record (NextGen experience is a plus)Enthusiastic, have a positive attitude and a great work ethicEnjoy a fast paced environment and work as part of a care teamExceptional customer service skillsDetail oriented and a problem solverAttention to detailFlexibleAbility to take direction from, and work well with, othersAbility to work well in occasionally stressful situationsAccurate keyboarding skillsSALARY AND BENEFITS:_*Health and Dental insuranceVision insuranceLife insuranceShort term disability insuranceFlexible Spending Account and Health Savings AccountPTO401k after one year Salary Description $19.50 - $24.00
