Overview

The Clinic Training Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering remote Nextgen and EMA training for new clinic receptionists and clinic assistants, and on-site Nextgen and EMA training for integration clinic receptionists and clinic assistants, providing a consistent quality training experience for the development of highly trained staff

This position requires travel 75% of the time. Including air and car travel

Responsibilities

  1. Provides effective remote Nextgen and EMA training for new clinic receptionists and clinic assistants.
  2. Provides effective on-site Nextgen and EMA training for integration of clinic receptionists and clinic assistants.
  3. Actively participates in development and continuous improvement of the training program, including recommending revisions and improvements to existing training materials, methods, and training guides.
  4. Maintains working knowledge and stays current on all reception Nextgen procedures.
  5. Prepares for training sessions including but not limited to setting up Zoom meetings, updating agendas, and creating EMR test patients & scenarios.
  6. Provides written feedback to clinic managers on trainee performance immediately following training.
  7. Provides surveys to trainees to submit to their regional clinic manager and encourages meaningful feedback.
  8. Adherence to completion of all company wide compliance training.
  9. Performs the duties of a Clinical Assistant and / or receptionist when assigned.
  10. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education:
  1. Certified Medical Assistant, LPN or RN is required. Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment.
  2. CPR Certification is required per licensing requirements as applicable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  1. Must be willing and able to travel approximately 75% of work time.
  2. 2 years of work experience in dermatology / Mohs surgey or 5 years of related work experience is required.
  3. Must possess a valid Driver's License and a driving record that allows for insurability by Forefront Dermatology.
  4. Must possess excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills in order to provide a quality training experience.
  5. Ability to train using a variety of systems and methods. Must be adaptable to a variety of learning styles and capacities, with the ability to demonstrate a consistently calm, positive, and encouraging demeanor.
  6. Ability to provide effective, constructive, and positive feedback to trainees, and respond positively to constructive feedback from others.
  7. Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.
  8. Must display a friendly cheerful, tactful and polite demeanor, and compassionate caring in dealing with others.
  9. Must demonstrate leadership by serving as an example to others with regard to professional appearance and behavior.
  10. Ability to use time productively and contribute to high levels of company operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Must have proficient computer and typing skills. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  12. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
