Diesel Technician

Schedule: Sunday- Thursday, 10:30 PM - 6:00 AM

Pay:$29-$34/hr - pay will be determined by experience and certifications

Sign-on Bonus: $2,000

NFI Division: Fleet Services

• Your responsibilities as a Diesel Technician / Mechanic will include, but are not limited to:Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical tractor and trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
• Performance preventive maintenance on our fleet of tractors & trailers
• Perform DOT inspection per FMSCA guidelines
• Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes being able to lift and/or pull 75 lbs or more without restriction, stand or lie for extended periods, and have flexible movement to reach equipment.

• To become part of the NFI team you:Must have a valid driver's license
• Preferred ability to obtain a Class B license
• Technical or advanced degree or 5+ years of equivalent maintenance experience
• Familiarity with troubleshooting equipment repairs and maintenance with diagnostic tools and equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows
• Successfully demonstrated problem-solving skills
• Examples of teamwork and customer service skills, including good oral and written communication skills.
• On-site evaluation with recommended training
