Responsibilities: Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.Educates patients, families and staff on anesthesia aspects related to conditions and diseases. Reassures patient before procedure. Accompanies to recovery area to ensure condition satisfactory.Consults with staff anesthesiologist as necessary regarding patient condition.RequirementsGraduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).Valid CRNA certification required.Copy of the current license for the state of Kansas or MissouriBLS/ACLS or willing to obtain certifications.
