If you are driven to succeed and proud to serve others, we want you as part of our teamJob SummaryThe Pilates Instructor is responsible for designing and implementing group Pilates classes and performing a mild to moderate session that leads guests and members through exercises that help improve strength, flexibility, and balance. Must assist all guests with proper techniques and mind-body connection. Provides motivation to guests to ensure that they achieve their personal wellness goals. Also ensures wellness area lighting and music levels are correctly set and maintained.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and abide by TRILOGY and The Spa at Green Valley Ranch policy and procedures.Greets patrons immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome.Listens and addresses guest's requests and responds with appropriate action and provides accurate information.Communicates guest complaints, concerns and requests to Spa Management. Provides tour of fitness areas and facilities, if needed. Maintains a complete knowledge of all group fitness classes and programs. Maintains safety and sanitation and disinfection standards.Maintains fitness area cleanliness, practices a "clean as you go" approach to the work areas. Properly clean and sanitize products, rooms, tools and equipment, following TRILOGY and State requirements and guidelines.Ensure use of all PPE and sanitation standards by TRILOGY and the State Governing Body.Ensures all equipment (including hand held equipment) are in good working order and functioning properly. Ensures fitness area lighting and music levels are correctly set and maintained. Ensures all guests practice safety during exercise sessions. Ensures guests safety in wet areas by removing standing water and reporting unsafe equipment.Oversees Forbes standards for fitness center.Handles emergency situations with urgency and discretion.Observes all departmental safety procedures and protocols.Provides customer service to guests, including information about hotel services, activities, and directing guests to other areas of the hotel. QualificationsNationally recognized Pilates Instructor Certifications.Nationally recognized Group Fitness Instructor Certification, plus Pilates Certificate of Completion course.Pilates Method Alliance or Stott Pilates preferred.2-3 years of continuous Pilates teaching experience preferred.Current CPR/AED Certification.Ideally, familiar with the Williamsburg market, have a following, and be proficient at utilizing social media to market themselves and their classes.Ensure that all guests practice safety during Pilates sessions.Must be polished, professional, and have a strong command of both written and verbal English.Benefits/PerksMedical, Dental and Vision (Full-Time Employees only)401K MatchingPTO - Paid/Holiday Time OffVTO - Voluntary Time OffDiscounts on Retail Products and Spa ServicesCompensation: $40.00 per classCompensation: $40.00 per hour Trilogy Spa Holdings is a boutique spa management company dedicated to creating and operating the most innovative, service-centric and performance-optimized branded spas in the hospitality industry.
