Job Title: Java Spring Batch Developer
Location: San Antonio, TX//Onsite
Duration: Full Time-Only

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Experience Required - 10+ years
  • Proven IT solution experience - at most one full cycle of developing Spring Batch application for file processing, invoking a REST API in batch and built a new microservices REST API application using SpringBoot Framework
  • Knowledge and Experience of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (Spring Data JPA, Hibernate)
  • Expertise in Spring Batch Framework, SpringBoot, Java 8 & its higher version
  • Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based software and applications, contributing to all stages of the software application development lifecycle
  • Thoroughly analyze user requirements/ stories, envision system features, and define application functionality
  • Understand the application architecture and design, develop the Batch and REST API application as per design using Spring batch & SpringBoot frameworks. Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
  • Prepare and produce releases of software components for Release-when-Ready (CI/CD), by developing well designed, testable, efficient code, and thoroughly tested using Unit Testing, Integration Testing tools & process.
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
    • Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies Daily Stand-Up (DSU), Program Increment Planning (PIP), Iteration Planning (IP), Retrospection and Product backlog grooming.
    • Provide status on their assigned stories in DSU and SAFe agile project management solution like JIRA
    • Work with project stakeholders, Product Owners, Technical leads and Architects
