Description

Reports to: Director of Tennis

The Wanderers Club is seeking a Tennis Shop Attendant to assist in greeting and welcoming members, enforcing building policies and procedures, and handling point of sale transactions involving tennis and pickleball lessons and classes. Tennis Shop Attendants are the first point of contact for the tennis program and will be held to the highest standard of professionalism.

Requirements

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

•Uses "Play By Point" for tennis court reservations

•Assists Director of Tennis Sports as required

•Always maintains a professional appearance

•Follows customer service guidelines and protocol

•Greets members, answers phone and takes messages

•Orders office supplies and maintains inventory records

•Respond to emails in a timely fashion

•Reserves court time

•Records daily sales

•Collect guest fees

•Ensure Pro Shop is neat and organized

•Acts as salesclerk

•Ensures that payment is collected for all services provided

REQUIREMENTS

•Background in customer service with an emphasis in a sport or fitness facility

•Tennis or pickleball background is preferred

•Ability to work with others and to think creatively

Salary Description

$16/hr
