In addition, performs designated tasks regarding pharmacy quality control, management of pharmacy records, inventory control and preparations of medication orders. In accordance with accepted national standards, federal and state laws, and hospital/department policies and procedures, a pharmacy technician is responsible for assisting the staff pharmacists and the director of pharmacy in the day to day operations of the pharmacy department to assure excellence in patient care.
