Candidates must be available to:•Pass a pre-employment drug test and background check. •Be available to work from 7:30 am until 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.Principal AccountabilitiesAbility to read blueprints/schematicsAccurately interpret customer needs and work with the customer and outside sales team to offer appropriate solutions to satisfy requirements.Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit termsArrange and direct delivery of productsAssist outside salesman with quotes, orders, and submittals/O&M'sAttend industry trade shows and product trainingConsult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing supportContact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.Emphasize product features based on customers' needs and technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitationsEnhances organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requestsEnsure timely order processing and confirmation of ordersEnter sales orders into the Eclipse system and pick customer order tickets.Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery datesFollow-up on estimates and bids submitted to customersHandle incoming customer requests for quotes and product information (equipment specifications, applications, and accessories)Identify prospective customers or develop territories using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations, and attending trade shows and conferences.Manage assigned customer orders from origination to deliveryMerchandise and stock products on displays and in self-service areas.Monitor market conditions, product innovations, competitors' products, pricing, and sales.Occasionally visit job sites to troubleshoot problems that can't be resolved over the phone.Participate in organizations, trade shows, and conferences.The position can require after-hours phone calls from customers and occasionally opening up the shop for customers.Process warranty claimsProvide Branch Manager with reports or additional tasks as requestedProvide customers with product brochures or catalogsProvide information on the full range of products and programs offered by the company to the customerProvide post-sales follow-up as requiredProvide technical support, including monitoring shipping, delivery, and return status, as requiredRecommend products to customers based on customer's needs and interestsServes customers by understanding and resolving or forwarding complaintsWork with customers, outside sales, and internal/external suppliers to resolve issues as they ariseWork with other departments to answer questions (i.e., factory, warranty, finance, etc.)Perform other duties as requested.Minimum Education/Experience RequiredHigh School Diploma or its equivalentExperience with Plumbing & HVAC preferred but not required.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities RequiredAbility to learn Eclipse softwareAbility to perform assignments with minimal supervision and under tight deadlinesCritical thinker-using logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutionsMathematical reasoning- ability to choose the correct method or formulas to solve the problemMust be able to determine and prioritize workloadMust be very detail-oriented and focused for accuracyMust have strong interpersonal communication skillsMust maintain a patient and professional attitude while managing a busy workloadStrong organizational skills requiredWe offer a competitive salary and an outstanding benefits package, including the following:MedicalDentalVisionVoluntary Term LifeMedical & Dependent Care Flexible Spending accounts401kPaid Time Off (PTO)Holidays-8 paid daysBenefits covered 100% by Connor Co. for full-time employees include:$10,000 in life insuranceShort-Term DisabilityLong-Term DisabilityWe are not accepting applications in person.
