About Us EMCOR Industrial Services, a division of EMCOR Group, Inc. is comprised of eight companies that support major industries through maintenance, construction, engineering, manufacturing, and fabrication services.Job Title: BoilermakerJob Summary: Our companies are currently looking for boilermakers to assist in the repair, retube, rebuild, and fabrication of shell and tube heat exchangers, as well as other equipment, used in the refining, petrochemical, and chemical processing industry.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Breakdown heat exchangers and related equipmentPerform mechanical repairs, including welding, sawing, and grindingAssist with the line-up and assembly of tubesheets and bafflesLoad tubes into baffle assembliesInstall test heads on bundlesAssist with hydro testingAssist with loading and unloading of trucks transporting heat exchangersBoltup and breakdown equipmentOperate powered industrial trucks and mechanical lift equipment, including overhead cranesOperate various power tools, including portable grinder, roll motor, tugger, knocking gun, and impact gunRead tape measure down to 1/16 of an inchAssists in tool room and with tool record keepingMaintain clean work areaQualifications: High school diploma or equivalentAbility to read and write in EnglishBasic computer skillsAbility to read and interpret drawings and measuring devicesExperience working in the trades or adjacent industries preferredWorking Environment and Physical Demands:Exposed to hot and cold environments, noise, and dustMay be exposed to chemical and pinching hazardsMust be able to lift 50 poundsMust be able to stand for prolonged periods of timeMust be able to bend, push/pull, twist, stoop, squat, lift, and reach overheadEMCOR Industrial Services companies are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledNotice to prospective employees: There have been fraudulent postings and emails regarding job openings.
