Director of Sales

Position Responsibilities:
* Develop plans and strategies (in conjunction with GM) for developing new business and achieving the company's annual sales goals.
* Manage the sales teams to deliver profitable growth along with managing the use of budgets.
* Define optimal sales force structure.
* Responsible for hiring and developing sales staff and managing in compliance with the company's policies and vision.
* Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives.
* Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required.
* Responsible for putting in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function.
* Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting through mastery of Salesforce.com
* Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions.
* Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
* Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships.
* Responsible for running the monthly sales meetings.
* Manages sales funnels, tracks and manages new account roll-outs.
* Develops, implements and executes strategies to accelerate account acquisition and improved margins.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Bachelors degree, or equivalent work experience.
* Five to ten years previous experience in Sales Management.
* Strong leadership. Ability to motivate, train and manage for results.
* Ability to set targets and design growth plans.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to multi-task.
* Strong interpersonal and customer relation skills.
* Computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
