We offer competitive pay, great benefits with a culture to match.POSITION SUMMARYChrist Community Health Services Healthcare for the Homeless program provides interdisciplinary integrated care for homeless men and women in Memphis and Jackson, TN.is role is to provide direct clinical and spiritual leadership at the Operation Outreach and Mobile clinics in Memphis, and to provide leadership for CCHS homeless services across sites. You would work closely with the Program Director - Healthcare for the Homeless, to provide leadership for the homeless program. The Clinical Director-HCH is responsible for overseeing quality holistic healthcare services for homeless men, women, and children.The Lead Physician-HCH works with peers to guide innovation, change management, and high performance. The Clinical Director-HCH works with organizational leadership to develop and implement a long-term vision for the healthcare for the homeless of Memphis and Jackson, balanced with addressing day-to-day issues. He/she is responsible for directing and coordinating the clinicians at his/her site to provide high-quality Christ-like medical care that meets national standards, complies with CCHS clinical protocols, achieves performance objectives & productivity benchmarks, and meets compliance measures as well as outstanding patient experience.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. With senior leadership and Program Director - HCH, develops and implements strategic vision for CCHS programs for homeless men, women, and children.2. Works with Lead Physician - HCH to collaborate with local hospitals, shelters, and other partners engaged in serving and empowering the homeless populations of Memphis and Jackson, TN.3. Provides direct medical care as a board-certified (or board eligible) physician in his/her specialty both at the clinic and through outreach locations.4. Demonstrates commitment to CCHS Values of Faithfulness, Unity, Service and Excellence. Promotes integration of care between the medical, behavioral health, spiritual health, and other disciplines.5. Supervises providers at the site, confirming proficiency in clinical care, EMR usage, and professionalism, timely locking of notes, and ensuring that advanced practitioners have appropriate supervision.6. Ensures appropriate provider clinic scheduling and approves provider PTO requests.7. Meets regularly with the Program Director - HCH to discuss progress of homeless strategies and initiatives, clinic operations, quality performance, productivity, financial reports, staffing needs, staff morale, social activities, prayer times and spiritual vision.8. Along with the Program Director - HCH sets the agenda and leads the monthly site staff meeting. Provides input and feedback to the Program Director - HCH regarding training, coaching and discipline of support staff at the site.9. Serves as liaison between site providers and CCHS, attending site leads and operations team meetings and communicating organizational changes to the providers under his/her leadership.10. Engages in performance management and coaching/development of site medical providers through performance reviews and regular feedback.11. Performs other duties as assigned.POSITION REQUIREMENTSBoard certification, or Board eligible, in a major primary care specialty field of practice with a minimum of two years' experience.Experience providing services in underserved primary care setting, such as a community health center, is preferred.Healthcare team leadership experience is desired.DEA X waiver or willingness to obtain within 90 days of startEducation: Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy.Licenses or Certifications: Current, valid license to practice medicine in the State of Tennessee, including DEA license and CPR, required.
