Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist

with special interest in pediatric and adolescent hematology to join the team. Responsibilities will include diagnosis and management of a range of benign hematology conditions, with a focus on outreach and regional growth within the Delaware Valley and a subspecialty clinic in Malvern, PA. Interest in adolescent hematology and collaboration with adolescent medicine and adolescent gynecology within a combined adolescent hematology clinic is required. Comfort with inpatient hematology consultation and inpatient management of pediatric hematology and oncology is also necessary.
Highlights of the benign hematology program include a supportive and collaborative group of 11 pediatric hematologists, 8 nurse practitioners, a thriving Nemours Comprehensive Sickle Cell program, the pediatric portion of the Delaware Hemophilia Treatment Center, and a pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship program. The Nemours Comprehensive Sickle Cell program is also developing several new areas of research focused on sickle cell disease. Clinician-researchers with related interests are encouraged to apply. Competitive start-up support is available. This is a full time employed position with competitive compensation and benefits. Post-fellowship experience is helpful but not required.
The successful candidate will be Board Certified in Pediatrics, Board Certified/Eligible in Pediatric Hematology Oncology, and be eligible for unrestricted Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey Medical and DEA Licenses.
