CURRENTOPENINGS :
*Every Other Weekend: 16 hours biweekly: 6:00AM-2:30PM
-Every other weekend and holiday.

The Med Tech in Personal Care providesquality nursing care to each resident in accordance with Department of HumanServices (DHS) regulations. A Med Tech takes into consideration the resident'sunique needs as well as their mental and physical abilities. This position isperformed in accordance with Mennonite Home Communities Core Values, MissionStatement, and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • HighSchool diploma or equivalent required
  • MedicationTechnician certificate is preferred
  • CurrentCPR Certification or the ability to become CPR Certified
  • Completionof DHS Direct Care Training or the ability to complete training
  • Healthcareexperience and experience administering medications preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Administersand charts medications. Ensures refills are electronically ordered frompharmacy
  • Obtainsvital signs per medication protocol. Completes treatments per physician orders
  • Assessesskin condition of residents and implements appropriate procedures for skintears
  • Overseesassigned staff
  • Timelycompletes or assists with all required documentation/forms -admissions/discharges, transfers to hospital, assessments, support plans,DME/MA51's, etc
  • Monitors,responds to, and reports health changes of residents
