Automotive Technician

Fidelity Building Services Group is lookingfor an Automotive Technician to join our Fleet Team in Sparks, MD. You will be responsible for properly repairing, maintaining,and inspecting company vehicles. In addition, we are looking for someone whocan help teach their strengths to the team but is also willing to learn. What's in it for you? Inspecting and testing vehicles, completing preventive maintenancesuch as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheelbalancing, and replacing filters.Maintains vehicle is in functional condition and verifiesvehicle serviceability Testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards to makesure they follow state vehicle requirementsMaintaining vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting (whenrequired.)Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs.Keeping shop equipment operating by following operatinginstructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performingpreventive maintenance; and calling for repairs.Contains costs by using a warranty, and evaluating service and partsoptions.Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; and verifying receipts.
