Respiratory Therapist

Quincy Medical Group (QMG) has an exciting opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist to join our team. QMG is a multi-specialty group practice with more than 155 physicians and providers in West Central Illinois, Southeast Iowa, and Northeast Missouri. The Respiratory Therapist will care for patients with chronic respiratory diseases. Will perform diagnostic testing, analyze results, and develop personalized treatment plans. Responsible for monitoring and controlling patients' blood-oxygen levels, setting up and utilizing advanced cardiopulmonary equipment and machines, and providing ongoing support and care.

This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Work scheulde will be based on an as-needed basis. Work location is in Quincy, IL.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills and experience to include: excellentverbal and written communication skills to share complex information at various levels of education; strong analytical and problem solving skills; and a strong sense of compassion to provide emotional support for patients undergoing treatment and attend to their health needs.

Associates degree and eligible to be designated a certified respiratory therapist (CRT) or and equivalent combination of education and experience required. Valid Illinois license required. CPR required, available upon hire.
