We currently have an opening for a

Full Time MRI Technologist for Imaging Center of Meridian.
The ideal candidate is a fast learner with a demonstrated ability to work at a fast pace via phone and computer; remains courteous with customers, patients, referring physician office personnel and employees. Someone who is dependable, mature, has a good work ethic, excellent attendance, maintains a professional attitude, is a team player as well as adheres to and enforces all policies and procedures.
Description

Performs and oversees the performance of MRI procedures to include instructing and manipulating patients, selecting techniques, and calibrating equipment, and obtaining and developing images.
Participates in the design and development of MRI/MRS research to include protocol, procedures, applications and operating standards, plans, schedules and coordinates experiments, clinical trials, and procedures.
Plans, coordinates, and conducts procedures requiring independent judgment and evaluation, selection, and modification of standard scientific techniques.
Collects, analyzes, and interprets data, ensuring date integrity, quality control, and compliance with protocol, provides initial analysis to researchers.
Ensures adherence to established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance programs and safety standards.
Assists with contacting and following up with patients, tracking critical information for performance improvement, and ensuring that the reporting radiologist has all necessary information.

Preferred Experience:
Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
MRI certification preferred but not required.
MRI experience

preferred.
Multiple platforms experience is desired, along with any additional imaging modality. (X-Ray and/or CT)
Knowledge of safety requirements to provide instructions and to recognize and correct hazardous

conditions.
Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient

care.
Maintains communication and cooperation with radiologists and other ancillary departments regarding changes in protocol, scheduling of procedures, exams performed and patient flow.
Ability to communicate clearly.
Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
